2003 League Board of Directors Elections Results

John Allen of Waltham, MA, author and co-author of several bicycling books, was elected to represent Region 1 on the Board.  He won the seat in the election against Jon Orcutt of New York, NY, the associate director of the Tri-State Transportation Campaign, by a vote of 113-58.  S. Mark Terman, former President and CEO of the Michigan Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness, Health and Sports and the Michigan Fitness Foundation, who resides in Mason, MI, won the race for the Region 4 seat.  Terman won the seat over Fred Oswald, from Cleveland, OH, a mechanical engineer at NASA Glenn Research Center, 379-165.  Amanda Jones of Palo Alto, CA, the Transportation Coordinator for the City of Palo Alto, was elected to represent Region 6.  New board members will take office at the October board meeting in Madison, FL.
