The 2008 LAB Board Election

LAB Reform has serious concerns about the governance of the League.  (These are described in many articles elsewhere on our site.)  We sent all League board election candidates a questionnaire asking how they would deal with these issues.  Six of the eight candidates responded.  Please consider their responses carefully as you cast your vote.  LAB Election Page.

We hope you will agree with us that the candidates endorsed below are the best qualified to lead our League forward.

Will we have a fair election?

We worry about the fairness of this election.  Among other concerns we were not given the official list of candidates until November 28, just 5 days before ballots were available.  That has made planning for the election difficult.

The League’s web site has pages about the Board of Directors and 2008 Election Schedule.  As of Dec. 16, some information there is out of date
